About the Author

Allen Patrick brings his years of experience and that of his peers into this comprehensive work on spearfishing.  His background includes receiving the Norm Wymann/Poppa Taylor award for his contributions to diving, directing the St. Pete Open and Southern Open Derby spearfishing tournaments, winning various spearfishing awards and serving as president of the Florida Skin Divers Association and the St. Pete Underwater Club.  His credentials include PADI Scuba Instructor, USCG licensed Captain and Safety Drill Master and Offshore Sailing Instructor.  He has also written for Skin diver magazine, Florida Scuba News and the FSDA Bulletin.
